April 2026
"The body is a self-healing organism, so it's really about clearing things out of the way so the body can heal itself." — Barbara Brennan
Happy April!
Spring is a natural time for renewal - and in the body, that often means supporting detoxification. It is something I've come to see as absolutely foundational to hormonal health — and something I'm living through personally, right now.
Over years of clinical practice, I’ve seen many times hormones function much more effectively with regular detoxification. Time and again, I watch my patients thrive once we weave detoxification into their treatment plans.
This spring I’m personally moving through the same detox process I guide my membership patients through. Even with a “healthy” diet, I’ve noticed how easy it is to allow small indulgences to accumulate over time (yes - even gluten-free vegan treats). But I’ve tightened things up, and the experience has already been eye-opening.
The first few days brought a mild headache - very common during detox and a sign that your body is getting to work! Fatigue and mild achiness are followed by noticeable improvements in mental clarity, energy, and sleep.
This is often how the body responds:
- Temporary symptoms (headache, fatigue, mild achiness)
- Followed by increased clarity, balance, and vitality
Supporting the body during this phase can be quite simple. These tips made a real difference for me:
Hydration · Epsom salt baths · Sauna or heat exposure
Gentle Movement · Lymphatic massage
And then? The payoff arrived: sharper mental clarity, deeper sleep, and that feeling of knowing your body is working better, worth every moment of the process. I want you to know: detox is not extreme or out of reach. Anyone can move through it, and what waits on the other side is absolutely worth the effort.
Ready to add detox to your hormonal health plan? I'd love to help you get started — whether you're already a patient or just exploring.
