Staying Connected
When people show up and say, “I want everything you have to offer,” it makes me realize that I have more to give. Taking people on a journey deeper than a 30, 60 or even 90 minute appointment is my passion. If I call myself a catalyst, it’s not completely honest. A catalyst is left unchanged by the reaction it facilitates. With each shift towards more radiant health seen in an individual, I am enriched and overjoyed.
We sincerely wish to empower you in gaining control of your health so you can move forward with purpose rather than being reactive. We wish to be your ongoing guide and mentor, not a diagnostician that addresses issues once they occur. We want to work in partnership to prevent them altogether.
We have studied our practice and are focusing on what works and, also, what stands in the way of YOU achieving the health outcomes of your dreams, or more. Please click HERE to sign up join our next webinar, Stress, Hormones, and Health, and learn how to take the next step.
There are also developments towards live presentations in Flagstaff, Sedona and Cottonwood. Specific dates and details will be released in future newsletters and through Facebook and Instagram updates. Please reach out to share any potentially collaborating venues where you would like to see us.
Processing Shifts
There was recently an abrupt change in our credit card processor. Please rest assured that this was not the result of any security breach, but rather the processor’s lack of professional cooperation. For the benefit of everyone’s security, the decision was made to have each patient re-enter their current credit card information. We apologize for this inconvenience, and know that your privacy is of paramount importance. We deeply appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Summit Guest Appearance
Last week I received a text from a former mentor, Anastasia Frank, who taught me about the inner child and spirit guide connection. She is magnetic and inspiring. The work I did with her has transformed my life and my career and taught me to listen deeply to my basic emotional needs as well as inner knowing and guidance as I make decisions about my life. She asked me to be a closing speaker on her upcoming summit. My interview will be on October 9 at 11 AM PDT. Register here to join the summit and see my interview! I am honored that my own coach is featuring me as an example of her success! It seems that her platform has shifted from deep spiritual work to advertising financial success. I am a firm believer that abundance comes in many forms: health, time, freedom, choice, relationships, spiritual and of course financial. My intent for the interview is to speak to my history of burnout in Western Medicine and how I have transformed that to creating the career I love in Functional Medicine working with people who are serious about and committed to their own health and living a fulfilling life on this planet. As we follow our dreams abundance of all sorts follows us.
Register Here. We'd love to see you there!

- John O'Connor of My Gene Food speaks about his journey in nutrigenomics which is the science of using genetics to help guide the most optimal dietary choices. Your Input Needed
While traveling in Egypt with Danielle LaPorte, she did not share that she was working on her 5th book. As a quiet, introspective and deeply spiritual woman, I suspect the content was churning and surfacing as we walked through ancient Egyptian temples and alongside the Sphinx. (Sidenote: the first 4 are worth going back to - The Desire Map, Fire Starter Sessions, White Hot Truth and How to Be Loving).
Yet to be published is Bless and Release. Danielle actually stopped the presses on this new book so she could do more research. This is where you come in. She has a survey to which she has the intention for 1 million responses. Would you like to help Danielle, yourself, and humanity by chiming in? The question is: What is one thing you want to let go of? Go to lettinggosurvey.com to answer. You may recognize your response when the book is released in Summer 2026.
October’s Health Tip
As the seasons change our bodies have a natural tendency to want to detoxify. Many of us understandably are busy and lack the time and mental focus to take on a full detoxification process. As a challenge that could be transformative to your lives, here is a simplified seasonal detox you can adopt at home and anywhere you are traveling. 3 weeks is an optimal time chunk for this undertaking.
- Sleep at least 8 hours per night
- Upon waking drink 1 liter of WARM water (can add a wedge of organic lemon if water is in a glass container only). Keep drinking warm water in the morning until you experience a bowel movement.
- If caffeine is needed, wait until you have been awake for at least 90 minutes before using.
- Eliminate sugar, flour, corn, dairy and fried foods
- Focus on eating fresh and steamed vegetables with organic meats
- Minimize or eliminate nuts, seeds and eggs.
These are listed in descending order of importance. Begin with sleep. The nights are getting longer and our bodies need more rest. Hydrate to flush. Support the adrenals by minimizing or eliminating caffeine. Support the gut by minimizing that which is difficult to digest and increasing healthy foods with natural nutrients. Detox does not need to be done perfectly. Try this out to any degree you can and reap the benefits. In the Spring, you may want to go deeper. Please post results you’d like to share on FB or IG.
